          Greetings to you from Village Women Development Society.

          In an effort of special way Village Women Development Society intends to check school dropout stagnation and continue students schooling, we feel that the barrier of their education should be removed by construction of hostel for both sex that will be easy access to go to school. Further the program removes physical pain of tribal children the school children will go to school without absenteeism.

          The Hostel checks children from being supplementary income source to clear off parents debts and also relieve the parents from availing loan from local money lenders on exorbitant interest 60% because they buy loan to meet out food, dress, education cost of children, now they freed from the burden. Kindly do accept and acknowledge our request for the educational development of Hilly based tribal children.

Need of the Hour:

          Village Women Development Society is a public charitable trust focus is to defend the rights of intellectual children students who live on the fringes of society across Polur Taluk, Thiruvanamalai District.

          Village Women Development Society is working among Jamunamarathur Panchayat a biggest panchayat in Javadhu hills, an eastern ghat region where there are 116 tribal villages are its hamlets, the population is 60,000 because of our high effort since 1991 all the school aged children were mainstreamed into local government school, the school going children goes to mountain to mountain by walk of 5-6 kms at times parents stops them forced to dropout, not to pain taking the illiterate parents drops them and force to act as supplementary income source to clear off fathers debt it is girl children effort which lacks children education.

          So now Village Women Development Society wishes to construct a hostel, it is meant for Hilly children where they can stay study and improve their educational career so that they can go to school in time and the project reduce their hard ships. The children are walking to pursue schooling 5-6 kilo meters.

Hostel Facilities:

          Hostel provide food, educational fee, book and notes, scholarship, free bus and extra curricular activities. The hostel will be constructed at the premises of Village Women Development Society at Polur, Thiruvanamalai district, Tamil Nadu state, India.

          The hostel will be manned by one women warden who is graduate teacher she will stay at Hostel, manage administration students attendance keeping food material stocks being bridge been school and hostel appoint student chairmen, organise food monitor, health monitor, pays salaries to cooks pays salaries to two special teacher monitoring the progress of student. The hostel is very class to schools, students will be going to school by using free bus, bus pass will be arranged.

Hostel Structure:-

            The Hostel caters to the need of school going children of 116 villages of Jamuna Marathur, and eastern Ghat region, the children are hailed from half parents, intellectual children, destitutes , orphans children with History of family violence each hostel caters to the need 50 students. The selection of children will be regardless of caster creed, religion and language. The students will be acting as various leadership group to function hostel successfully i.e Health mentor, Food Minister, Health Minister, Chief Minister, Environmental Minister, Etc.
