Tamara Housing Trust is a registered Public Benefit Organisation. South African Mary-Ann Lloyd had a desire to assist disadvantaged women (domestic helpers; unmarried women; widows or single women who had been abused or abandoned by their husbands etc.) to obtain suitable homes. She stipulated that the houses constructed for these categories of women should be architecturally designed and built by members of the Master Builders Association. Mary-Ann Lloyd was a remarkable lady, a granddaughter of South African mining magnate, Sir Abe Bailey, so she was born a person of means, but she always used her inheritance in the best possible way, helping other people.

Re-opened at its current site in 1988, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is today ranked the number-one family-friendly zoo in the U.S. (Child magazine) and recognized by the State of Florida as a center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity (HB 457). The region's only dedicated zoological garden, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo was designed to enhance quality of life in greater Tampa Bay as an affordable leisure destination and center for education and endangered species conservation. Natural outdoor exhibits for more than 2,000 animals from Florida and similar habitats include a Native Florida Wildlife Center and manatee hospital, Asian Gardens, Primate World, Free-Flight Aviaries, Wallaroo Station children's zoo, and Safari Africa.

Our vision is to see the majority of New Zealand landowners successfully planting and sustainably managing indigenous trees for multiple uses by 2020. In order to realise the vision the foundational objectives of the Trust are to promote indigenous forestry as an attractive land use. The objectives of Tane's Tree Trust include building a network of knowledge sharing amongst stakeholders; retrieval of past incomplete research projects pertaining to establishment, growth and productive use of indigenous tree species, and the establishment of new research projects. We maximise the economic incentives for establishing indigenous trees by reducing establishment costs, while resolving taxation, legal and political obstacles currently serving as disincentives to the planting of indigenous trees.

The Tanja Liedtke Foundation was established in 2008 to honour the dancer and choreographer, Tanja Liedtke. We work towards encouraging, supporting and celebrating a spirit of creative adventure in choreography and dance practice, and by enabling exciting opportunities for a broad range of dance artists. We assist young talented dance artists to experience valuable opportunities in order to further their career, build beneficial exchange opportunities and partnerships between European and Australian artists and arts organisations, and enable, through partnerships, the realisation of dance and dance theatre projects, that will have impact on the arts and arts audiences.

The Tanzanian Children's Fund provides financial support to programs designed to improve the lives of marginalized children in Tanzania. Currently it is working in partnership with the Rift Valley Children's Fund, a non-governmental organization organized under the laws of Tanzania. The Tanzanian Children's Fund is assisting the Rift Valley Children's Fund by granting funds to provide ongoing support for the orphanage, the Rift Valley Children's Village, as well as programs designed to strengthen the community and assist marginalized children from the Karatu District. At the end of 2008 we finished the construction of the Children's Village. As of June 2009, the Children's Village is now a home to 69 children.

Taralye offers programs and services to families with young babies and children to allow them to have access to the world of hearing and spoken language. Being hearing impaired is not life threatening but it's certainly life altering. Taralye advocates for early diagnosis of hearing loss, prompt fitting of hearing aids and/or cochlear implants and high quality early childhood intervention services. Without professional intervention children with hearing loss can experience delays in their speech, language, learning and social development. Our philosophy is to help hearing impaired children learn to listen and to speak like their hearing peers and to enable them to attend mainstream schooling so as to reach their full potential.

We are a Centre for Sustainable Living, providing an interface for people to benefit Mother Nature while rediscovering their own true human nature. Visitors and volunteers are invited to explore human impacts on natural systems, the importance of these systems to us, and ways to actively live in harmony with Nature. Over its 8 year life span, the Sanctuary involved hundred of volunteers from all over the world in a massive amount conservation which culminated in the permanent protection of 200 acres of rainforest.

The Taronga Foundation was established in 2000 with a vision to be recognised as a world leader in the development of philanthropic support for the conservation and presentation of Australian and exotic wildlife. The Taronga Foundation is supporting the Taronga Conservation Society Australia in an ambitious 12-year Master Plan infrastructure redevelopment program. Revitalising our infrastructure is not only great for our visitors and the animals in our care; it also means that we're providing the best possible facilities for our vital research, education and captive breeding programs. This will ensure we remain a conservation powerhouse in this century and beyond. All funds received by the Foundation are invested with the ANZ Trustees. The Board ensures that the funds are used for the specific purposes intended and that these uses meet the strategic goals of the Taronga Conservation Society Australia.

The theatre engages the best theatre artists and craftspeople to interpret new work; presents each new work with high quality production values; provides an administrative structure to support it, and develops marketing strategies to promote it, while continually generates an audience for new work. As a complement to the new work created here, Tarragon presents new plays from all parts of the country, revives significant Canadian plays and produces international work, contemporary and classical. Of great importance is the training of artists, administrators and production personnel from students to professionals in the creation, development, interpretation and production of new work.

Since its establishment as a charity in the UK in 1993, Task Brasil Trust has come a long way in helping the street children of Rio de Janeiro. In the early days, Ligia Da Silva (Founding Trustee) and her supporters began by trying to make contact with children on the streets, assisting poor families who were not able to provide for their children and helping young people, against all the odds, to receive a reasonable education. Task Brasil was given an enormous boost in 1997 with a very generous donation by Jimmy Page, the Led Zeppelin rock icon, who witnessed first hand the deprivation of the children and troubles in the favelas whilst playing in Rio de Janeiro. The money donated was used to buy a plot of land in Santa Teresa with a house, Casa Jimmy, to provide a safe and happy home for a lucky few of the abandoned children.

SIGHT AND LIFE is a non-profit humanitarian initiative of DSM with the mission of fighting micronutrient deficiencies in developing countries. When SIGHT AND LIFE was first set up in 1986 it was focusing on vitamin A deficiency. Since 2003, SIGHT AND LIFE's mission has expanded to address other essential micronutrient deficiencies including Nutritional Anemia. Malnutrition is still an underlying cause of more than 3.5 million of deaths among children under five years of age. SIGHT AND LIFE actively seeks to end micronutrient malnutrition - also known as "Hidden Hunger" - by raising awareness of these problems as serious public health issues.

Tate is a public institution owned by, and existing for, the public. Everything we do - from the Collection we care for, to the exhibitions, displays and programme we present, to how we manage the organisation – is done to maximise value for the public. As Tate's reputation has grown, so has the number and range of people who have been able to enjoy the Collection and participate in our programmes. But we need continue to change with the times. Artistic practice is evolving and new technology is changing the way people access information. Participation is ever more important to our visitors’ experience; and everyday life is more global and multicultural than in the past.

Tazama! Trust is a non-profit, non-government organization (NGO) whose primary goal is the protection and conservation of natural resources and wildlife in Tanzania , East Africa . Creating a forum for dialogue between Tanzania 's indigenous people, farmers, conservationists, tour operators, developers and the government, Tazama! Trust establishes the cooperation necessary for all groups to manage resources in a mutually beneficial manner. Tazama! Trust also assists the villages that live near wildlife areas in Natural Resource Management thus combining Community Education and Training in this regard. This allows the local communities whose land is rich with wildlife to more knowledgeably participate (which to date they have not been able to) in any decision-making, which affects the use of the Natural Resources on their land. Tazama! Trust succeeds in finely balancing the needs of people with the survival of wildlife and its environment.

In America today, educational disparities limit the life prospects of the 13 million children growing up in poverty, impacting their earning potential, voter participation, civic engagement, and community involvement. These disparities disproportionately impact African-American, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American children, who are three times as likely to live in a low-income area. We recruit outstanding recent college graduates and working professionals from all backgrounds and career interests to commit to teach for at least two years in urban and rural public schools. We provide the training and ongoing support necessary to ensure their success as teachers in low-income communities. Since our inception in 1990, the Teach For America network has grown to include more than 20,000 individuals. Currently, some 6,200 Teach For America corps members teach in 29 urban and rural areas profoundly affected by the achievement gap.

TALC - Teaching Aids at Low Cost was founded in 1965 by Professor David Morley (CBE, MD, FRCP) when he was lecturer at the Institute of Child Health, in response to many requests from overseas students for teaching equipment to use in their own countries. At TALC we believe good health provision should be available to all – especially those in the poorest communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We have been working for over 40 years to achieve this. We currently supply over 10,000 health workers (doctors, nurses, midwives, lab technicians, etc.) with health materials - including low cost health text books, videos, CDs, weight charts, etc. TALC operates as a trading company and development charity combined.

Teanmmates For Kids was established in January 1999 as a nonprofit corporation. The purpose of the Foundation is to contribute financial resources to select nonprofit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education and inner-city services. all sports divisions consist of Teammates who contribute a predetermined sum based on selected categories for their in-game performance. The Foundation then triples the paid donation of each athlete.

Right now, we’re focussing on some of the biggest challenges facing the world today: HIV, malaria and water-borne diseases, like tuberculosis – the world’s biggest killers.

Tearfund was founded in the UK in 1968 to help the people affected by war in the short-lived republic of Biafra, southern Nigeria. It is recognised worldwide as a leading relief and development agency. Tearfund has operated in the island of Ireland for more than 40 years with a strong network of supporters and churches. At Tearfund Ireland we are prioritising the most vulnerable and marginalised people, working through churches and Christian organisations to bring help and hope to people living in dire poverty – people who aren’t being helped by other agencies. That’s why we have chosen to work with forgotten children, vulnerable women, people affected by HIV, and to provide emergency relief to people who have often lost everything in times of disaster.

Technical Aid to the Disabled started in June 1973 when George Winston AM and a core group of eight engineers volunteered their technical skills to assist people with disabilities. Over 300 volunteers in 18 branches, interest and metro groups are supported by 23 full and part time staff based at Northmead, Sydney. Similar organisations have also been established in the other states. Our custom built solutions and modified equipment help our clients, young and old, get more out of life. TADNSW can assist in all aspects of everyday living, including equipment to assist the development of young children, tools and devices for education, work, recreation, daily living and personal care, and aids to assist older people retain mobility and independence. In some cases we may also modify a commercially available item to suit individual needs. Even though many of our solutions appear relatively simple, they make a world of difference to our clients.
