Founded in 1920, the Cleveland Institute of Music is a leading international conservatory that is distinguished by an exceptional degree of collaboration between students and teachers. This same stimulating environment extends to the Institute's community education programs, which help people of all ages realize their musical potential. For more than 80 years, CIM has offered a world class education to students from 3 to 93 and provided concerts for the community. CIM's conservatory student body is international in its composition: 25% from other countries, 50% from other U.S. states, and 25% from Ohio.
