The Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) is the national charity for people with myasthenia gravis (or ‘the Ragdoll Illness’), supporting and providing information to patients, raising awareness, and funding medical research. Our patron is Ronnie Whelan whose eldest daughter has the illness.Whether you are concerned about symptoms, have been newly diagnosed, know someone with the disease or are just curious, we are here to lend support directly and act as gateway. The association also puts members in touch with other appropriate agencies for any specific problems they are facing, for example problems with benefits. We are honoured to have Ronnie Whelan as our. patron
