The mission of Southeastern Natural Sciences Academy is to promote environmental stewardship through education, research, and public outreach.

The Academy's programs reflect the diverse interests of the community that we serve. While school programs are currently our most extensive effort, we also offer public tours, scout programs, teacher workshops, summer eco-camps, and various other events throughout the year. We also provide an ideal laboratory for studying water quality, watershed ecology, and urban river impacts in order to recommend approaches to watershed management and sustainability of river resources.
