The Alaska SeaLife Center is a marine research facility in Seward that has Alaska's only public aquarium along with a rescue and rehabilitation facility for marine mammals and seabirds. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and has the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is dedicated to understanding and maintaining the integrity of the marine ecosystem of Alaska. We achieve our mission through research, rehabilitation, conservation, and public education.
