The relief of poverty, sickness, distress and the preservation of good health of children who are suffering as a result of earthquakes or any other natural disaster in El Salvador and other vulnerable countries.

Salcet was established in 2005 in response to the emergency and long term rehabilitation needs of children damaged by earthquakes and other natural disasters in El Salvador and other vulnerable countries.Key activities are: raising public awareness in the UK,provision of medical and supportive care to children affected by earthquakes,sending boxes of children’s clothes and toys to poor communities,resourcing healthcare infrastructure,addressing specific health care needs in poor communities,working at local level to promote good building practice and education
