Our mission is to help the millions of very poor children in developing countries who are suffering with unrepaired clefts.

Smile Train has grown into the world’s largest cleft charity, helping hundreds of thousands of desperately poor children with cleft, training tens of thousands of medical professionals and establishing hundreds of programs in over 75 of the world’s poorest countries. Smile Train has its headquarters in New York City and offices in: China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, UK and Vietnam.
