Founded in 2001, Research Australia is the largest, most respected not-for-profit alliance working to make research to improve health, a higher national priority. As a national not-for-profit advocate, our 170 member organisations include universities, research institutes, business, voluntary health and patient advocacy organizations, professional groups, hospitals and philanthropic foundations. Together we advocate for growth in research funding and policies that will fast track Australian Research discoveries to deliver new cures or treatments. We aim to raise public support for research to improve health and build strong economy, and encourage governments and the public to become active champions for research.
