UNICEF Ireland saves and protects the lives of children by supporting UNICEF’s work through fundraising, advocacy and education in Ireland.

Working in over 150 countries across the world, UNICEF is committed to finding the best and most cost-effective ways to save children's lives, providing health care, nutrition and education to help every child realise their full potential. Tens of millions more children have been able to survive and lead healthier and happier lives with UNICEF's support. Despite these successes, over nine million children still die each year, many from preventable causes. UNICEF is working to reach the day when no children die from preventable caues, no children killed by malaria and measles, poisoned by unclean water, lost for a lack of safe shelter or by falling prey to malnutrition.
